Art.IL magazine was born out of the desire to shine a light on local creation, connect artists with a new audience, and present what is happening behind the scenes with us each time.

This issue gives a glimpse into a unique experience - Orly Pital's Flowers on a Plate Workshop - there is something about Orly's workshop that allows us to take a moment for ourselves.

Working with clay and real flowers, we choose the flowers that suit us at that moment, and imprint them on the surface of the clay so that their shape and texture remain there even after the flowers themselves come off. It's a simple and pleasant process, which requires no prior experience, just an openness to try.

The action itself is slow and quiet. The hands are busy, the head calms down a bit, and there is something almost meditative about seeing how each leaf and flower leaves a different mark. Each person chooses their own flowers and presses gently, until a personal pattern emerges that tells a little something about the moment it was created.

In the end, you leave with one plate, delicate and useful, with the flower print embossed on it. A pleasant souvenir of time for yourself, and of a small encounter with nature that goes into one creation.

מעבר ליצירה עצמה, למגע בחימר יש ערך מוסף מוכח: המגע בחומר הגולמי מסייע בהורדת מתחים, שיפור הריכוז והרפיית המחשבות. אני קוראת לזה "הדייט של המוח והידיים" – הרגע שבו הריכוז עובר לעשייה הפיזית, ורעשי הרקע פשוט נעלמים.

סיור גרפיטי עם מציאות רבודה + סדנה (כ־3 שעות) – סיור אמנותי במרחב האורבני בשילוב חוויות AR, עם אפשרות לשלב ביקור במוזיאון לח״י, ובסיום סדנת יצירה. עלות: 260 ₪ למשתתף + מע״מ.

כל אחת מהאפשרויות מותאמת לאופי הארגון ולמטרותיו, ומשלבת חוויה אנושית, יצירתית וטכנולוגית שממשיכה להדהד גם אחרי שהפעילות מסתיימת.

הסדנאות של חנה יוצרות מרחב שקט ומזמין לעבודה עם הידיים, כזה שמאפשר להתמסר לתהליך היצירתי וליהנות מהדרך לא פחות מהתוצאה. היא עובדת עם שלוש טכניקות מרכזיות של יצירה ידנית: צריבה על עץ, קווילינג שהיא אמנות גלגולי נייר, ומגזרות נייר, וכל אחת מהן מציעה חוויה אחרת של ריכוז, דיוק והבעה אישית.

Vered Dayan

Her Story

And Red Dayan is an artist who lives in two worlds of creation that seem completely different, but for her they meet naturally. On the one hand, paintings inspired by folk art, with repeating patterns created with a brush or by stamping paint using pieces of wood. The result is intentionally rough, almost primitive, but maintains an internal order and a constant rhythm.

On the other hand, Vered also creates abstract paintings, full of layers, spots, and splashes, in which everything is open and every line is permitted. This is a liberated, intuitive work, the kind that seeks to convey a feeling even before a thought.
These two worlds live side by side in her work, reflecting what happens to all of us: a calm and quiet place next to a turbulent and explosive place.

Before making color the center of her life, Vered spent years in the world of words as a translator and book editor. Today, she devotes all her time to creation, and says that it feels like a second incarnation to her.

Her works are available as original works and also as prints on canvas, paper, wood or acrylic glass panel.

My studio is located in the heart of a green and peaceful garden, a designed and pleasant space designed to allow for a break from the daily noise and a connection to tangible physical activity. I specialize in creating cohesive experiences for work teams, managers, couples and families.

I believe that clay sculpting is a language that anyone can learn. I have developed simple and accessible working techniques that allow even people with no artistic experience to achieve impressive results from the very first session.

Hello, my name is Vered Dayan, I paint and create both. Both bohemian-style wall decorations inspired by folk art - characterized by repeating patterns - and abstract paintings, rich in bursting, multi-layered splashes of color. My works are an expression of these two opposites, which complement each other in all of us: the calm part and the turbulent part.

In works inspired by tribal/folk art, I paint with brushes or imprint paint marks using pieces of wood – which intentionally creates a primitive and rough appearance but maintains a uniform pattern. The abstract works are free from constraints – stains, splashes, smears with a knife or fingers and a brush, anything goes, everything is free, in the hope that the feeling will also be transmitted to the observer. You can order original works or prints: on canvas, on paper, on wood or on an acrylic glass panel, as detailed in the link for each work.
