נעים להכיר, אני רותי ביסמוט, אומנית קרמיקה אני יוצרת מתוך אהבה גדולה לחומר – אל הרוך, הגמישות והקסם שבו.
בסטודיו שלי בנגב באשלים, בין נופי המדבר והשקיעות שאין שתיים כמותן, אני מאפשרת לחומר ולצבעים לספר את הסיפור שלי – סיפור של אדמה, תנועה ואור.
עבודותיי נולדות מתוך השראה מדברית עמוקה: צבעי החול, האור המשתנה, ושקיעות השמש המרהיבות. אני יוצרת חפצי נוי, יודאיקה ותכשיטים לבית בעבודת יד, כל יצירה מצוירת ומעוטרת ביד – כך שכל אחת מהן ייחודית ובעלת נשמה משלה.
היצירות שלי מתאפיינות במרקמים וטקסטורות מהטבע, בתנועה רכה ובצבעוניות חמימה שמספרת ספור של מקום, של לב ושל רגע יפה אחד שנשמר בחומר.
את חווית היצירה הזו אני שמחה לחלוק עם אחרים דרך סדנאות קרמיקה ופסיפס, המותאמות לזוגות, משפחות, קבוצות וליחידים – גם בלי ניסיון קודם. אלו רגעים של יצירה, רוגע ותרפיה, בהם אני חולקת עם המשתתפים את חדוות היצירה ואת פלא המפגש עם החומר.
מעבר לסדנאות אני גם יוזמת פרויקטים קהילתיים באמנות, שבהם נוצרת חוויה של חיבור – בין אנשים, מקום ואדמה. אני מזמינה אתכם להגיע, לנשום את אווירת המדבר, לגעת באדמה – ולגלות את הקסם שבחומר. כי מבחינתי, אמנות היא לא רק מה שרואים – אלא מה שמרגישים.
יש משהו נפלא בעצם היצירה והאירוח שנותן תחושה של עשייה ואפילו הגשמה, התחושה הנהדרת הזאת ליוותה אותי לאורך השנים. אחרי שגידלתי ארבעה בנים וגם הפכתי לסבתא מאושרת, הבנתי שאת האהבה שלי ליצירה ולאנשים אני צריכה לתרגם לדרך חיים. כך נולד לו העסק שלי -רותי ביסמוט אומנית באירוח, שילוב בין העולמות שתמיד כל כך אהבתי – סטודיו בר וצימבר – אמנות, יצירה, אנשים ואירוח.

After raising four sons and becoming a happy grandmother, I realized that my love for art and people needed to become a way of life.
That’s how my business was born – Ruti Bismut, Artist in Hosting – a blend of the worlds I’ve always loved: Studio Bar and Tzimbar – art, creativity, people, and hospitality.

I create from a deep love for clay — for its softness, flexibility, and the magic it holds.
I create handmade decorative objects, Judaica and “jewelry” for home. In my studio in the Negev, in Ashalim, surrounded by desert landscapes and unforgettable sunsets, I let the clay and colors tell my story — a story of earth, movement, and light.
My works are born from deep desert inspiration: the shades of sand, the shifting light, and the breathtaking sunsets.
I create decorative art, Judaica, and handmade home accessories and jewelry. Each piece is hand-painted and hand-decorated — making each one unique, with a soul of its own.
My creations are characterized by natural textures, soft movement, and warm colors that tell a story of place, heart, and a beautiful moment captured in clay.
I am happy to share this creative experience through ceramics and mosaic workshops, suitable for couples, families, groups, and individuals — even with no prior experience. These are moments of creativity, calm, and therapy, where I share the joy of creation and the wonder of connecting with the material.
In addition to workshops, I also initiate community art projects that create a sense of connection — between people, place, and land.
