Nice to meet you, I'm Ruthie Bismuth, a ceramic artist. I create out of a great love for the material - for its softness, flexibility, and magic.
In my studio in the Negev in Ashalim, among the desert landscapes and sunsets that are second to none, I allow the material and colors to tell my story – a story of earth, movement, and light.
My works are born from a deep desert inspiration: the colors of the sand, the changing light, and the spectacular sunsets. I create handmade decorative objects, Judaica, and jewelry for the home, each piece is hand-painted and decorated – so each one is unique and has its own soul.
My works are characterized by textures and patterns from nature, soft movement, and warm colors that tell the story of a place, a heart, and a single beautiful moment preserved in the material.
I am happy to share this creative experience with others through ceramic and mosaic workshops, which are tailored to couples, families, groups, and individuals – even without prior experience. These are moments of creativity, relaxation, and therapy, in which I share with the participants the joy of creation and the wonder of encountering the material.
Beyond workshops, I also initiate community art projects, in which an experience of connection is created – between people, place and land. I invite you to come, breathe the desert atmosphere, touch the land – and discover the magic of the material. Because for me, art is not just what you see – but what you feel.

There is something wonderful about creating and hosting that gives a sense of accomplishment and even fulfillment, this wonderful feeling has accompanied me throughout the years. After raising four sons and also becoming a happy grandmother, I realized that I needed to translate my love of creation and people into a way of life. Thus was born my business - Ruthie Bismuth, an artist in hosting, a combination of the worlds that I have always loved so much - Studio Bar and Cimber - art, creation, people and hosting.
