Pencils are my way of telling stories on paper. My ideas come from small, everyday moments that catch my eye — those tiny instances where something in the universe suddenly pauses. The most meaningful experience for me is when others connect to these stories, find their own place within them, and give them a new meaning. There is nothing more moving than a drawing finding its way into your home and continuing its story there, and nothing more interesting to me than hearing where the artwork took you. I draw the ideas for my drawings from pieces of life and everyday moments that speak about a moment in life that all of us can relate to. I love exploring everything that touches nostalgia, childhood, and people and the memory that revealed when we look at the drawing. After all, each of us also has a child within us. I draw the situations from my personal experiences and memories, or from photos I took on my travels and turned into drawing. The process of moving from what i imagined to its experation on the paper always fascinates me and im thriled to see what the final result will look like.
