My name is Mali (Amalia) Zilberman, a multidisciplinary artist from Ramat Yishai in the Jezreel Valley. I have been creating jewelry for the past fifteen years, and about five years ago I began painting and working with botanical prints. These two fields flow into one another, allowing me to create wall art while also integrating fragments of prints into fully wearable jewelry.

My interaction with nature has always been a place of strength and healing for me—of calm, confidence, and in recent years, a source of inspiration and an active material in my creative process. The plants themselves serve as both brush and creation, forming the foundation of every piece. I build my story by layering drawing with pencil, pen, charcoal, pastels, acrylics and watercolors upon various forms of botanical printing. The interplay of transparency and opacity, color and material, generates the three-dimensionality of the work. In my art, I aim to initiate a visual discussion and remind the viewer of the direct and vital connection we have with nature.
