Galia – Thoughtful Design for Everyday Life
As a Tel Aviv-based product designer, I blend graphic design, art, and craft. Moving between homes, I realized some small items always stayed with me—things that felt good. That inspired Gala—a brand of unique pieces designed to be part of your journey. I create home products like wall clocks, hooks, and wall art, with a focus on harmony. My Judaica collection reimagines tradition, giving Mezuzahs and Hamsas a modern twist.
גליה – עיצוב עם משמעות לחיים היומיומיים
כמעצבת מוצר מתל אביב, אני משלבת גרפיקה, אמנות ועבודת יד. במהלך המעברים הרבים בין בתים, שמתי לב שיש פריטים קטנים שתמיד נשארו איתי – דברים שפשוט הרגישו טוב. כך נולד המותג Gala – קולקציית פריטים ייחודיים שמלווים אתכם במסע החיים.
אני יוצרת מוצרים לבית כמו שעוני קיר, מתלים ואמנות קיר, עם דגש על הרמוניה ואסתטיקה. קולקציית היודאיקה שלי מעניקה פרשנות מודרנית למסורת – עם מזוזות וחמסות בעיצוב חדשני וייחודי.

כשהייתי ילדה, אמא שלי לקחה אותי לקנות שמלה לחתונה משפחתית. היא מדדה כל מיני שמלות שחורות והמשיכה לבקש את דעתי. לא הבנתי למה היא נעולה על שחור – כל כך משעמם ולא כיפי בכלל! בסוף היא בחרה בשמלה שחורה, אבל מאז אני תמיד בוחרת בבגדים צבעוניים. אפילו במוצרים שאני מעצבת, לצבע יש תפקיד משמעותי.
המוצרים של גאלה הם אקולוגיים, עשויים ברובם מעץ טבעי מסוגים שונים, תוך שימוש בדבקים על בסיס מים. כולם מיוצרים בישראל, עם תו כחול-לבן, תוך שמירה על איכות גבוהה, עבודת יד, והיכולת לייצר בסדרות קטנות.
ולבסוף, אני מזמינה אתכם להאמין בכוחו המיטיב של האסתטיקה בכל תחומי החיים, ובמיוחד בתחום הבית הפרטי שלנו.
When I was a kid, my mom took me shopping for a dress for a family wedding. She tried on all these black dresses and kept asking for my opinion. I couldn’t understand why she was stuck on black—so boring and not fun at all! She ended up with a black dress, but ever since then, I’ve always gone for colorful outfits. Even in the products I design, color plays a significant role.
Gala's products are ecological, mostly made of natural wood of various types, involving the use of water-based adhesives. All are made in Israel, with a blue and white manufacturer mark, while maintaining high quality, handmade and the ability to produce in small series.
